Summer camp at Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur a roaring success
The annual summer camp held at the Jayshree Periwal High School between May 16 and June 2 saw active participation by children from across Jaipur. Singing, Dancing, crafts, drama were just some of the activities arranged.
The Summer Camp at the Jayshree Periwal High School this year continued the legacy of being the star attraction of the summer vacations. The Summer Camp this year was conducted between May 16 and June 2 and was attended by hordes of enthusiastic school children from all over Jaipur.
The school reverberated with the sound of happy laughter and cheerful voices as children burst into popular songs. The dance sessions helped the reticent ones to shed their inhibitions.
They were taught to enjoy life through music and dance. Kids were made to write the script as well as perform on issues like water conservation, gender sensitization and preventing cutting of trees.
Dabbling with clay, colours and other craft material – children were encouraged to let their creativity loose. The little artisans came up with tranquil reflections, floral delights deceptive visages and allegory at its best to name of few.
Vocabulary enhancement, extempore, declamation and crossword puzzles exposed them to the finer nuances of the English language. A show was put up by the students to show case their talents.
The camp had something to offer to the parents too as an interactive session was organized with them to help them spend quality time with their children.
The Summer Camp focused on value teaching, static & current G.K. fostering friendship, developing organizational skills and working towards the overall personality development of each child.
