Tagore International School, Mansarovar, Jaipur hosted the inaugural ceremony of sahodaya fest on Monday 17th Oct. 2016 in Deep Smriti Auditorium. It was truly a proud privilege for TIS family to welcome many distinguished guests including the Principals of the member schools who solicited their benign presence in the event. Mr. Siddharth Mahajan, IAS, District Collector, Jaipur was the Chief Guest along with the dignitaries which included Mrs. Suniti Sharma, Principal MGD & President Jaipur Sahodaya Schools Complex, Mr. SVS Bhandari Vice President & Principal BVB Vidyashram, Mrs. Mala Agnihotri, Principal IIS & Secretary Jaipur Sahodaya Schools Complex, Mrs. Rama Datt, Principal Sanskar School & Joint Secretary and Mrs. Madhu Maini Principal, Jai Shree Periwal High School & Treasurer Sahodaya.
Shri P.D. Singh, Director of Tagore Group of Institutions also graced the function. The inaugural ceremony commenced with the lighting the lamp of Goddess Saraswati by all the guests which was followed by a devotional presentation with orchestra by the Host school. All esteemed guests were accorded a floral welcome by the Head Boy & Head Girl of the School.
Mrs. Suniti Sharma, welcomed every member in her speech & wished a good luck to the participating schools and their participants.
The cultural fiesta ‘Essence of Life’ was a spectacular treat for the audience as it depicted the five elements of life, beautifully woven and well choreographed in classical style. The scintillating performance by the students was applauded by everybody present in the auditorium.
Mrs. Mala Agnihotri, Secretary Sahodaya Group presented a report of Sahodaya activities & updated the other principals. It was followed by the release of sahodaya news letter by the Chief Guest.
Sahodaya song presentation by the school choir was indeed a melodious and inspirational one.
Shri PD Singh ji, Director of Tagore group of Institutions blessed the august gathering by his motivational speech.
The most awaited moment was when the Chief Guest declared the ‘Fest Open’ with all cheers & applauds from everyone. He wished the fest a grand success.
The function culminated with a presentation of a memento by Mrs. Suniti Sharma to the Chief Guest as a token of love & gratitude. Mrs. Kamal Rathore, Principal of Tagore International School expressed her heartfelt thanks to each one for gracing the occasion and making the inaugural fest a grand success.
