Tagore International School recognises and appreciates teachers and students with Deepak Rathore Memorial Awards

Tagore International School Mansarovar organized a function on 01 May 2017 in memory of the school’s founder Principal Shri Deepak Rathore and felicitated five teachers and five students of Tagore group of schools for their innovative excellence in the field of Mathematics. Dr. Bal Phondke, a celebrated scientist and former Director of National Institute of Science & Information Research was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The students paid their respectful homage to the great soul by presenting his favourite song ‘madhuvan khushboo deta hai….’. Earlier Director PD Singh and Principal Kamal Rathore accorded a warm welcome to the Chief Guest. Five teachers, namely, Shri Alap Mukherjee (TPS Shastri Nagar), Shri Dharam Chand Jain (TVB, Shastri Nagar), Shri Rakesh Kr. Chudiwala (TPS, Vaishali Nagar), Shri Nandan Lal Gupta (TVP, Mansarovar) and Mr. Sarvesh Rawal (TIS) were awarded cheque of Rs. 11,000/-, shawl and Shrifal each. The five students, awarded cheque of Rs. 5,000/- and memento each, were Pallavi Agarwal, Ritu Alwani, Aaditya Sharma, Komal Sharma and Sambhav Patni.

The school annual magazine ‘Srijan’ 2016-17 was released on the occasion. In his address the Chief Guest shared his experience with the audience and emphasized on the growing importance of language of science and information technology.
