Talent at Galore, Exorbitant Fun: Summing up the Year

Waiting for this day for the entire year, students of Nav Bharti Public School showcased the true value that the school inculcates in them. Excelling in academics, talents in extra curriculars, sports, and what not!

Nav Bharti Public School, Pitampura, celebrated its Annual Day on 5th December, 2015 under the esteemed patronage of its founder and former education minister Sh. Kulanand Bhartiya ji with a lot of enthusiasm and fervor. Much awaited for the entire year, Annual Day celebrations are the perfect platform for children to showcase their inherent abilities and talents through an array of captivating programmes.

Shri Laxman Singh Rathore, the Director General, India Meteorological Department, Govt. of India, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Sh. Vikramjit Singh, IPS, DCP, Delhi was the guest of honor. The other dignitaries marking their eminent presence were Sh. Vinod Bacheti, Director, Delhi Paramedical Mgt. Institute; Sh. R.P. Ram, former Education Officer, Sh. K.P. Raizada, Former Deputy Director of Education, Sh. Ramesh Kandpal, Convenor, Anuvrat Nyas etc.

The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the hon’ble Chief Guest, Sh. Laxman Singh Rathore escorted by the Principal, Sh. Sanjay Bhartiya and other dignitaries. It was followed by Ganesh Stuti invoking the blessings of Almighty.  The school orchestra drew an unceasing applause which had peppy songs with a blend of classical, conceptual and fusion music.

Welcoming the august gathering, the school Principal, Sh. Sanjay Bhartiya gave the synopsis of school’s progress. He highlighted the achievements, awards and accolades secured by the students through the annual report.
The school always organizes thematic and message oriented programme. Following suite, this year, the vibrant colorful theme-based Dance Drama – ‘Paryavaran – Hamari Dharohar’ was brought alive by the young Nav Bhartians  with scintillating dance performances on songs like ‘Awara Bhanwre’, Na kato Mujhe, Mera Desh Rangeela etc.  The young Nav Bhartians sensitized the audience to save and protect our environment. They urged them to become a custodian of the ‘Mother Earth’ because we have not inherited the Earth from our forefathers, we have borrowed it for our children.

The theme of middle and senior wings was Indian Cinema: 100 Eventful Years. The Nav Bhartians celebrated 100 years of Indian Cinema with sheer enthusiasm. They gave enticing and spell-binding performances on the melodies beginning from the era 1940s to recent years.
The school choir mesmerized the audience with their melodious song “Runners for Justice”.  The students of Primary Classes presented the school report which was a spell-binding performance of the young Nav Bhartians.

The meritorious students were felicitated for their scholastic and co-scholastic excellence.

The Chief Guest and other guests appreciated the efforts of students and staff members.

The programme culminated with the vote of thanks by Dr. Usha Mittal, Academic Supervisor of the school and it was followed by the National Anthem.

The parents and guardians were indeed beaming with pride for their children who gave flawless performances.
