The time when most of the girls are either playing or else dreaming of a beautifully settled future life, Sushma Verma broke records and entered Limca Book of World Records.

At an age of mere 15 years, Sushma is already  a postgraduate, while there might be several among her friends who would still be obsessing and worrying about their board exams.

Sushma comes from a poor family in Lucknow, her father being a daily wage worker.  But that never stopped her from chasing her dreams. She didn’t stop, neither did her parents let her stop. Some like to call her God-gifted, while others call her simply talented, she has been acknowledged by Limca Book of Records for being the youngest student to clear class 10th just at the age of 7.

Recently, Sushma completed her MSc from Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow. Well, that’s not all …  She has secured 7th rank in University Research Entrance Test in Environmental Microbiology. With a sly smile, she says how she had developed a keen interest in Environmental Microbiology since her fourth semester.

At a tender age of 10, she wanted to be a doctor and gave the Uttar Pradesh Combined Premedical Test (UCPMT), but because she was underage, her result was withheld. That’s when she decided to pursue B. Sc from Lucknow University.

Not only did she dreamt big, she strived and achieved all that she dreamt.

The nation’s proud of her, and here’s Team ScooTalks wishing Sushma all the very best for her future endeavors!
