The Harmony Regional Final 2016 was held at the Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur under the aegis of 'The Global Education & Leadership Foundation' (TGELF).

Amidst brimming excitement and nervous anxiety teenage students from reputed schools of Jaipur came in large numbers to participate in a series of competitions and workshops with the objective of discovering their social and action oriented leadership talent.

The unique event started with the Street Blenders – street play competition where youngsters seized the day to show their passion and flair for dramatic arts. The Mind Games – Chess competition was a battlefield for the brilliant and brainy whereas the Debate competition brought together skilful orators whose weapons of choice were – their voice and analytical minds. The competition was conducted in two rounds, the topics for which were – "Religion has done more harm than good in the formation of morality" and "The Indian Censor Board should not mandate any cuts in Movies and only award 'A' or 'U' certification" respectively.

All in all, it is safe to call Harmony – hosted by Jayshree Periwal High School, a success not because of the impressive performances but because it brought out the very best in the participants and pushed them to near perfection. Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh won the street play competition while DPS was the winner of both, Chess and Debate Competition. The winners will now compete with schools from all around the country at National finals in November in Gurgaon.
