Schools go beyond education, what they target at is an overall development of students. The Palace School understands this as its duty and works towards it. The school was proud to host the celebrations of World Occupational Therapy Day.
The day is celebrated to enhance the development and promotion of occupational therapists working under the World Federation of Occupational Therapists (WFOT), which is an international organization of occupational therapists. As many as 80 national occupational therapy professional organizations are associated with the organization. The aim of the day remains to help create awareness about occupational therapists and let the society know about this profession.

With playing the host to the World Occupational Therapy Day, The Palace School has become the first in Jaipur to hold any such event. Many schools from all over the Pink City participated in the event; along with them also marking their presence were occupational therapists, special educators and children as well participating in the rally. Ms. Urvashi Warman, the Hon’ble Principal, The Palace School, flagged off the program with traditional lighting of the lamp. Quite a touching speech was then delivered by Suryansh Jain, Class 8-A, which was then followed by a beautiful presentation of Ganesh Vandana by the students.
Cultural program started next, a part of which were some competitions like dance and painting. The performances by the students of special children were a rendition in itself. The teachers and students from special school were appreciated by all.

The school also took care that they don’t simply be limited within themselves … Samarpreet Singh, Class 7C, showed his painting skills to encourage children from other schools.
After the exhilarating performances, the audience was totally captured by Ms. Urvashi Warman, the Principal, by her captivating and inspirational words. Dr. S.K. Meena then took the stage to thank Ms Warman for supporting the cause and giving the issue such a height.
