The Shri Ram School Walk for Life Supporting cancer survivors
The students of the renowned The Shri Ram School are insightful about the social causes and are always ready to play their part in making the society a better place to live in.
The students of the renowned The Shri Ram School, Gurgaon, are insightful about the social causes and are always ready to play their part in making the society a better place to live in. And in their yet another endeavor of lending a helping hand, the students took part in the Walk for Life 2016, organised by CanSupport at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.
Wearing the blue t-shirt, the students from Moulsari campus of the school actively participated in the event, which was organized on 31 January 2016, Sunday.
The walk is being successfully organized since 2008, and has now become one of the most awaited events in the NCR. People from across the city come together to support cancer survivors and patients, raising funds for future research in cancer and its treatments.
The purpose of this event is to create an awareness among survivors and patients and many others against cancer. The event also pays tribute to those who lost it to cancer.
