‘No large gathering, please’ didn’t bring down the happiness of graduating for these Bengaluru students, all thanks to the innovative idea of their school.
Recently, Canadian International School (CIS) came up with a drive-through ceremony to celebrate the students’ success. “Today, CIS held Bangalore’s first drive-through graduation ceremony! Graduates and their parents drove around our football field and as each car passed by, teachers cheered them on as they received their certificates,” the school wrote on its Facebook page as it shared the happy pictures of students hitched in the cars wearing graduation hat and gown.
The students were handed their degrees by the teachers as they followed the safety rules like social distancing.
“This year’s graduation theme of “We’ll find a way or make one,” really shined through,” the school added in the post. The students and parents were elated with this innovative celebration and praised the school for beautifully organizing it. Here are some pictures of the lovely, sunny event:
