With a belief that a picture speaks a thousand word, ScooNews has compiled some infographics to help you become aware about the Earth Day and what you can do to make the Earth a safer, cleaner and better place for ourselves and our future generations.

Our reckless power and fuel consumption are rapidly increasing the carbon emissions and threaten to destabilize and destroy our environment.

It is more imperative now than ever to combat it at every level. Mother Earth is worried about the human race towards extinction and with Earth Day around the corner, now is the time to reflect on what you can do to help the environment.

Even if you already recycle or turn off the water while you brush your teeth, there are more steps you can take to help your community and the world at large.

The theme of Earth Day 2016 is Trees for the Earth. Trees help combat climate change. They absorb excess and harmful CO2 from our atmosphere. In fact, in a single year, an acre of mature trees absorbs the same amount of CO2 produced by driving the average car 26,000 miles.
