Indians are proving their mettle everywhere and the recent one to join the league of achievers is 11-year-old Indian-origin girl in the UK, Kashmea Wahi who has scored 162 in an IQ test of Mensa.

With a score of as high as 162, Wahi has made a place for herself in the top 1% of the country’s brightest. Now being within the top 1% definitely sounds elite!

What is interesting about her score is that great scientists like Albert Einstein and Steven Hawking reportedly have an IQ of 160. And now that she has scored beyond 160, she’s being considered as one among them, in fact a step ahead!

The young Kashmea Wahi, gleaming at her achievement, says, “It's overwhelming to be compared with the likes of Stephen Hawking and Albert Einstein. The comparison is implausible and I believe it would take loads of achievements for anyone like myself to be able to get into the league of such legends. Anyways, I am buzzing with excitement.”

Saanya Verma is another Indian origin girl who scored an equivalent 162 score in the Mensa test.

The Cattell III B Mensa test organized by British Mensa is an internationally known process for evaluation and Wahi got to know about it through the Internet.

The maximum score to be achieved in Cattell III B test, which assesses comprehension through passages of texts by 150 questions, for adults is set at 161 while for under-18s it is 162.

The ecstatic parents couldn’t help but be cheerful which clearly reflects in their words. They say, “We are ecstatic at Kashmea's Mensa achievement. Although we always believed she had the intellectual prowess, the acknowledgement is reassuring that she does possess the ability , the energy which, if well channelised, can lead to something wonderful.”
