“School drop-out? What will you do in your future? How will you live?”
Not all but there are some school-drop outs make a name for themselves; Angad Daryani is one such example. This 16-year-old lad built his first robot at an age of 8, that tender age when children still play with robots. Later, he also went on to build a solar-powered boat. Not stopping there, at 13 years, he created India’s first homegrown 3D printer.
He left school in the 9th grade, and when you ask why, he says, “My interests required a proper and profound investment of time; therefore, homeschooling was the best option for me. Having finished my 10th grade study in the 9th grade, I decided to quit school and hence I did.”
In collaboration with MIT, his list of other creations includes Hand-gesture controlled vehicle, 3D printer (the robust desktop 3D printer that will print any material except for metal), Space Balloon Project with ICI, Virtual Brailler.
And as if that was not enough, he is also the founder of DIY kit company, Shark Kits. Currently he is one-man army behind it and doing strong.
