Gurukul's prodigious artist of Class-VII, Vedant Saxena,  proved his creative ingenuity in the International Festival “Children are painting the World, Asia” organised by Confederation of UNESCO Club and Association of India (CUCAI).  The competition aimed at unfurling the talent of young children while instilling in them a respect for Art and Sculpture while commemorating 1000th anniversary of Almaty City – a UNESCO memorable date.   

In the star and celebrity speckled ceremony held at Almaty, Kazakhstan, followed after the five days'  Interactive Trainings and Workshops on Arts, Culture of Peace, Tolerance and Global Citizenship Education in Almaty, Kazakhstan Vedant represented the country and the alma mater.

Vedant is the youngest of all the five finalists from India. Expressing his gratitute to the School and his art teacher Ms. Sunita Kumhar, Vedant spoke about the exquisite culture of Gurukul The School where students' skills are identified and chiseled right from an early stage. Elated Principal Mr. Gaurav Bedi congratulated Vedant and highlighted the importance of school in nurturing the talent of students.
