She loves water … and she proves it by her passion in swimming and diving.
Bhavika Pingle, a student of Class 11th Ryan International School Indore, at a mere age of 16 years has collected a shelf full of trophies, medals and certificates winning several swimming championships at regional and state levels. And now aims higher with her eye on Vikram Awards in Senior Diving Championship, which is the top state level diving award. However, she also wants to represent her state at a national level soon and has been working hard towards it.
She has recently collected two gold medals in Open National in under-19 category, along with silver and bronze medals at the recent National School Games held in Kolkata, while winning a bronze at Senior National Swimming and Championship held in Rajkot. At an international level, she had represented Indian schools team at International School Games, Australia. To tally, she has 7 golds, 5 silvers and 2 bronze medals from Open National Swimming and Diving Championship.
However, the feat has not been easy. There has been a lot of hard work and patience behind all this. Bhavika proudly dedicates all her achievements to her coach and parents. She says that it has been with their support that she has been able to come this far. She also feels grateful to her school which has helped her train well and participate in the various swimming championships in and out of Indore.
