When Gurukul – The School is counted among the best schools, there’s a valid reason behind it. And when the school believes that Every Child is Unique, it tries with all its might to bring out that uniqueness in all its students.

17 December 2015 … the school would surely mention this date on its achievements list. This one day and the students of the school have brought back awards from four different competitive events!

The school Hockey team under the leadership of captain Ritik Singh has once again won the top position  at 3rd ONGC NCR Cup organized at the Mahamaya Stadium between the 11th and 13th of December 2015. The amazing presence of mind showed by the entire team with special mention for the captain Ritik Singh, vice captain Manish Yadav and full back Sohail ensured that the opponents were not allowed to convert any opportunity into a goal. Kudos to the entire Hockey team and the physical education department for their all round support in creating winners.

The creativity of the school was displayed by Nishant Yadav and Rudra Pratap Singh of Class VII who had played with colors. Participating in an event organized by Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad, both the students secured first positions. From the very beginning of the event they ensured the victory was never away from their claws. Their creativity and colour patterns on the canvas were appreciated by everyone and drew admirable looks from the judges. The victory was not easy as the event was attended by many known schools of Ghaziabad and they had worthy opponents. Still … Nishant and Rudra made the school, teachers and parents proud bringing home laurels and victories.

They visualized and created their dress for the event in an “on the spot event” and won the hearts of many and also show cased a novel career opportunity for themselves and the ones around them. Gurukul – The School congratulates them on their startling win.

Now here’s something that has helped reach the school a national level. CARAGE (Carry your Garage with you), a unique product developed by the school students at CBSE Regional Science Exhibition, has won the First position. The students will now be participating in the national level scheduled for April 2016. CARAGE is that awesome product that draws power from a car’s battery and is easily operated with a single key to take care of day-to-day concerns of a car, like safety, cleaning, washing, etc. It is environment friendly as it takes care of heat produced in the car due to Green House effect and ensures that you get a spic and span vehicle to drive whenever you need it and wherever you have parked it.
