Womanhood celebrated on Women’s Day
Fun activities, competition, pledges, that’s how the school was on Women’s Day
Khaitan Public School, Sahibabad, was the place to be at as the school celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March, themed to make each woman realize her worth.
Conceived and hosted by Himali Jain, special educator, and Manika Pal, school counsellor, the event commenced with a beautiful and inspirational poem, followed by lots of interesting and captivating activities, like karaoke, ramp walk, etc.
The school pledged to a pledge to give equal status to every woman, to cut off patriarchy from roots, and to give wings to young girls, to not compare them to boys.
