Gurukul – The School believes that the education requires a dynamic approach and innovative ways to cope with the changes and to transcend learning beyond the confines of a classroom.

With the objective of equippingteachers with necessary skills and expertise to implement the latest pedagogies, the school organized an interactive workshop on Activity Based Teaching through Collaborative Learning .The session was addressed by Ms Dolly Dhawan PGT English, G.D. Salwan Public School, New Delhi who has more than 20 years of rich Teaching Experience and who is a C.B.S.E. Master Trainer for ASL, Assessment and Evaluation and for ‘Challenges in teaching of English Core and Ms Nidhi Seth Assistant Professor (Education) at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi and Doctoral Research Scholar at Central Institute of Education, University of Delhi.

The entire session was designed to be rich in learning and was full of innovative activities, reflective exercises and ideas on creative writing and an introduction to Grammar and Jazz chants -a fun way to reinforce grammar concepts that helps students overcome common errors. The enthusiastic team of teachers in attendance picked up nuances of integrating Activity based teaching through collaborative learning.

The workshop was participative in nature and demonstrated a variety of teaching models to encourage children to be creative and enthusiastic in English Classroom sessions.
