No doubt in the fact that St. Anselm's Pink City Sr. Sec. School, Jaipur strives for overall development of its students. In the on-going festive season, the school is all set to take its students to the fun-filled week of education and masti. The school is celebrating annual function, calling it Yuva Mahotsav. To flag off the event, the organizers got the entire school students engaged with an inter-house GK quiz competition.

Though it were only three members per team participating, but the involvement of the entire school was inevitable. Team ScooTalks was amazed to see how students in the audience were equally excited to answer all questions and were raising their hands to be called up for the answer.

There were total five rounds and questions related to important dates, important personalities, special achievements of eminent personalities were asked. But what made the crowd all the more eager and involved was the audio round, where songs from Bollywood were played and based on them questions were asked. This round was a refreshing change from the usual question-answer round and saw everybody in the audience in spirits livelier than before. Well, it weren’t just students enjoying and participating in the event, teachers too were equally enthusiastic to be a part of all happenings. The Principal, Father Edward Olivera, participated along with students, singing ‘Ye shaam mastaani, madahosh kiye jaaye’. No, it wasn’t just a song, the song was a part of the quiz as it soon was followed by a question related to it. No matter what, seeing their Father Principal was enough to send the students hysterical as they demanded for more.

The hosts of the competition made sure that everybody enjoyed the quiz and so they had different audio question planned for teachers, who not only took part in it actively but also sang a song or two.

And finally the competition ended with hosts of the show conveying the message ‘Never Stop Questioning’. In the end, Father  Edward came on stage and thanked the chief guest Dr. Neeraj Mathur, for his precious time. Father spoke about unity in diversity in our country. He talked about how belonging to a different house, each student represents one single school they belong to, that is, St. Anslem’s, which in turn represents Jaipur, and then Rajasthan and then India.

To end the day, he declared the winners of the quiz, which brought cheers from all around for which Team ScooTalks was invited to join. Were we glad to participate along with the youngsters.
