Union Minister for Human Resource Development, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal “Nishank” has launched a web-portal YUKTI 2.0 (Young India Combating COVID with Knowledge, Technology and Innovation) on 23 June 2020.

The HRD Minister says that this portal will give inputs for better planning and will enable the ministry to monitor effectively its activities for the coming six months.

The institutions can also share their strategies for tackling the COVID-19 situation. “The portal will also establish a two-way communication channel between the Ministry of HRD and the institutions so that the Ministry can provide the necessary support system to the institutions,” the minister said in his live video online.

Additional Secretary of MHRD, Rakesh Ranjan said, “The platform is not just a database, it acts like an online market where people who sell ideas and buy ideas will coexist. It will act as the missing link between innovation and commercialization.”
