This event illuminated the well-guarded secrets behind the phenomenal success of Heritage Xperiential School, shedding light on the evolving landscape of education and the pivotal role emotional intelligence plays in a world increasingly dominated by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML).
Neena Kaul, the Director and Principal of Heritage Xperiential Learning School, set the tone for the day, emphasizing the profound impact experiences and emotions have on learning. Kaul stressed that while content might fade, experiences leave lasting imprints on a child’s heart, underscoring the significance of passion and dedication in crafting an educational institution that truly comprehends the essence of education.
In a captivating keynote address, Manit Jain, Co-Founder of The Heritage Schools, delved into the concept of “Train Purposefulness,” advocating for students to unearth their true purpose in education. Jain explored the distinctive learning experiences offered by IV schools and Cambridge schools, highlighting the role of childhood memories in shaping students’ perceptions of humanity, judgment, and belonging.
Jain further delved into the future of AI and ML, emphasizing the enduring need for humanism in the face of advancing technology. He outlined four fundamental aspects crucial for adapting to an AI-driven world: self-awareness, relationship building, livelihood, and citizenship. Jain called for the development of a teacher training framework rooted in these principles.
Vishnu Karthik, CEO-School Business of Heritage Xperiential Schools, provided insights into the continuous growth of teachers and the school’s journey. He stressed the foundation of project-based learning and the value of drawing inspiration from successful experiences. Karthik also introduced the concept of Centers of Excellence (COEs) and highlighted the significance of prototyping and assembling the right team for effective integration.
