Educational Development – Global School Connect Program at St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur
“A Global School Connect Program” was conducted in St. Edmund’s School, Jawahar Nagar, Jaipur on 29th July. It was a platform for delegates from different schools of Europe as well as from India to initiate new partnerships through student Exchange Program.
One day there will be no borders, no flags and no individual country and the only passport will be the heart. Keeping this in mind “A Global School Connect Program” was conducted in St. Edmund’s School,Jawahar Nagar,Jaipur on 29th July. It was a platform for delegates from different schools of Europe as well as from India to initiate new partnerships through student Exchange Program.
A warm welcome was given to the delegates and it was supplemented by a colorful culture show and P.PT presentation organized by the students.
In this Programme delegates from Germany, France, Scotland, Bulgaria etc participated.
An open discussion took place where the delegates from different schools from India as well as from Europe interacted with each other and the co-ordinators from M.G.D. school, Mayoor School (Ajmer), Rukmani Modern School and The Palace School tried to exchange the ideas about making teaching and learning more student friendly.

The Guest of Honour Mr. V.K.Singh said that this visit gave delegates and teachers an opportunity to showcase their culture and advancement in modern times and in turn to learn about the finer nuances of different teaching patterns. Along with him International co-ordinator of Scotland Ms.Susan Coontz, was present.
Principal Dr. Pooja Singh in her speech said that the main aim of this program was to promote cross-culture understanding, equipping young people with key of future skills needed to live in the world of diverse faith and beliefs.
International co-ordinator from Scotland Ms. Susan Coontz said that the purpose of this program was to explore different educational practices, compare the challenges and strengths and to adopt the best practices beneficial for the teaching learning process.
At last Deputy Director Mr. Kapil Singh expressed his views by saying that it was a special moment where the delegates interacted with each other, which helped them to better understand each other’s teaching pattern.
