We Need Everyone’s Cooperation to Make Rajasthan Intellectual Capital of the Country says CM Vasundhara Raje

With the help of groups like Gems Education, there will be phenomenal changes in the education scenario of the state, said Smt. Raje. There is a need to make our young generation a global citizen by equipping them with skills and education.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the State Government and Gems Education in the presence of Chief Minister here at Hotel Rajputana on Monday. During the MoU signing ceremony Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje said it will be a wonderful partnership. She said during the last two and half years there has been a sea change in the manner education sector has been approached.

She said we are working with our sub groups, our officers, principals and teachers. We need everyone's energy, passion and excitement in making Rajasthan intellectual capital of the country.

With the help of groups like Gems Education we are going to do phenomenal changes in the education scenario of the state, she said. Smt. Raje said we need to make our young generation a global citizen by equipping them with skill and education. She said police department is doing exemplary work in providing self-defence training to 48,000 school girls in Rajasthan.

Minister of State for School Education Shri Vasudev Devnani said the various schemes and initiatives taken by the state government during last two and half years have given new direction to the education sector.

Group President Gems Group Shri  Amrish Chandra said the vision and phenomenal work Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje has done in government schools is exemplary. He said Gems Group is here to partner with the Govt. of Rajasthan to bring qualitative changes in education sector. The Radha krishanan library of Jaipur is going to be exceptional library soon, he assured. Actor Akshay Kumar had all praise for the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Smt. Vasundhara Raje. He said project Garima is a good initiative taken by the state government where school girls are getting self defence training.

Under the MoU Gems Education shall adopt 50 Adarsh and Utkarsh Vidyalayas in the state. It shall fill infrastructure gap and contribute towards curriculum enhancement and capacity building. Gems Education shall also adopt 5 District Institution of Education and Training (DIET) and State Institute of Education Research & Training (SIERT) Udaipur. Gems Academy will jointly work with these institutions in areas of professional development and education leadership with the objective of improving teaching and learning process.

The group shall also work for infrastructure up gradation of Sarvepalli Radha krishnan State Library in Jaipur including providing furniture and fixtures for modernization of the library. Infrastructure of the library shall be developed including new furniture, digital content and WiFi zones. The will bear the recurring expenses related to subscription to digital and e-library contain for three years. Group shall co-operate in promoting Rajasthan as a preferred education destination. The Academy shall also organise Global Academic Council Meet, Festival of Education and Head Master conclave etc. every year.
