Atal Innovation Mission Invites Educators to Participate in Mentor India Programme

Atal Innovation Mission’s (AIM) is now inviting applicants for its Mentor India Programme that’s aimed at maximising the impact of the programs of AIM, possibly the biggest disruption in formal education and start-up ecosystem globally. Today, there are 5,300 Atal Tinkering Labs operational across India with over 4,500 mentors of change aka ATL-agents working dedicatedly to inspire students in creativity, innovation, critical thinking, design thinking, social and cross-cultural collaboration, ethical leadership, and so on. 

With the Mentor India Programme, AIM is looking for leaders aka Mentors of Change, who will nurture and guide the students in the Atal Tinkering Labs. These mentors are expected to be enablers rather than instructors. In terms of time commitment, typically, the selected mentors are expected to spend 1-2 hours per week during/after the school hours. 

Currently, AIM has opened applications for the new cohort of mentors. To participate, fill the application here:

While these applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, AIM plans on announcing the next cohort of mentors in November 2020. The last date to submit your entries is October 30, 2020.
