As a part of Centre’s good governance efforts, all CBSE books and learning material will be made available for free on the Internet, announced the Union HRD minister Smriti Irani.
The HRD Minister who was present at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, East Delhi, for the inauguration of one of its new building said, “We made NCERT books available online for free through e-books and mobile applications a month-and-a-half ago. We are similarly going to make CBSE books available online along with additional learning material and videos as part of our good governance efforts.”
In its future endeavors, the Centre is planning to launch initiatives to assist parents in analyzing their kid’s performance in Kendriya Vidyalayas from next academic session.
A part from this, HRD Minister had also talked about Kendriya Vidyalaya Shaala Darpan and Saransh programme of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and said that these services will begin in the next academic session.
While Shaala Darpan will keep parents updated about their wards’ performance, attendance and time table through SMS, ‘Saransh’ will help parents keep a track of subject-wise learning outcomes of their child.
