Jayshree Periwal High School, Jaipur is known to take innovative approaches to teaching its students from time to time. As a part of practical learning beyond the books, the students of class XI were taken on a field trip to Kagzi Paper Industry, located in Sanganer.

The organisation is a unique paper processing unit as it is extremely eco-sensitive and uses cloth as its raw material instead of wood in the production of paper. Although paper manufacturing is a labour intensive industry, the company made sure to make optimum use of resources.

The experience was extremely informative for the students as the supervisor made them familiar with the entire process. The students then went to the gallery where they shopped paper made boxes, envelopes and bores.

Overall the students came back more informed on the working of a labour intensive company and more eco-sensitive towards the wastage of paper.
