With technology bringing the world closer, National Council of Education, Research and Training (NCERT) could not stay behind. Embracing technology, NCERT has decided to upload school text books where the students are generally found, the Internet.
All the NCERT books will soon be available on its portal for an easy access to every book. In the words of NCERT, “Lots of children have become tech savvy and are accessing the internet through mobile phones. So, we have already uploaded all text books for CBSE on our portal e-pathsala and also launched a mobile app for their benefit. Now, we planning to upload all text books of state boards on the portal so that a large number of students can avail the benefit.”
It was further notified by H.K. Senapaty, the Director of NCERT, “NCERT will make interventions on how to improve the learning levels of students and give inputs on how to increase the standard of government education institutes.”
He also announced that the New Education Policy, NEP, will soon be declared which is expected to bring about many changes in the current education system.
So, with the year end knocking and NCERT planning new and welcome changes, we hope for something good coming the Education department.
