Tagore International School celebrates Annual Function
Yes, it was celebration, of meritorious students, of ways out of social evils … of positivity!
Tagore International School recently celebrated its annual function. On the D-day, 7th November 2015, the school buzzed with great enthusiasm and fervor. The students, backed by their inspiring teachers, put up a varieties entertainment program based on the theme ‘SOCIAL STIGMAS’ keeping in view the present dismal scenario that people have to face. The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Kailash Chand Meghwal, Hon’ble Speaker, Rajasthan State Assembly.
On this occasion the meritorious students of the AISSC (XII) and AISS (X) Examinations were felicitated with Mementos, Certificates and cash awards.
The program began with the lighting of lamp in front of the idol of Goddess Saraswati, which was followed by prize-giving ceremony. Several meritorious students of the AISSC (XII) and AISS (X) examinations were felicitated with mementos, certificates and cash awards. It was more than a delight to have the Chief Guest on stage, who talked about the school, the Founder Director, Mr. P.D. Singh, the growing education industry. He also talked about the various ways education helps our society develop. Congratulating the meritorious students, he also laid stress on how the teachers bring around a country full of what the rest of the world calls the ‘Best Talent.’
Each and every item of the program was meticulously planned with the participants pouring their hearts out in executing like professionals. While every performance was received with loud cheering from the audience comprising mostly the parents and the students, there were some performances that touched hearts … deep within. These were the performances that brought out elixir of life against the social stigma, the social evils. And that was the beauty of the day, as the program not only talked about the evils but also some small solutions to overcome these evils. The idea behind was simple, but yet people find it tough to understand. The students at Tagore International made it easy for them – solutions could be found if approached with positivity and optimism.
